The Serious Stuff: Let me clarify something, by no means is the Whole Life Challenge a weight loss challenge. I know many of you have been operating under that assumption, but I assure you it’s not. However, a great potential exists within many of us to shed a few extra pounds by making the simple changes in our lifestyles that the WLC requires. The first thing you must accept is that the weight loss will not happen overnight. For most it will take several weeks for the body to adapt to this ‘new’ way of eating. Be patient, stay consistent, go easy on the fruits and starchy veggies (ie. sweet potatoes). The weight loss will come with time.
