Can’t Breathe

Don’t forget to come out Saturday and watch Oktoberfest Obliteration! We have 2 teams and a small deadly horde of individual competitors set to take on the world. It should be lots of fun! And YES, we are still running our classes as normal on Saturday at the gym. We hope to see you at one or the other or maybe even both!

The start position for the Jerk is exactly the same for any overhead movement. Feet underneath the hips, hands outside the shoulders with the barbell in the meat of the hands and elbows slightly in front of the barbell.

Violent change of direction, get under the bar. You can either throw the barbell up further or drop underneath the barbell faster.
