Impressive. Which is harder in this workout hang cleans or power cleans?

  2. John says:

The normal person can power clean more than they can with a hang power clean. But the extra distance from the ground with a power clean would take longer, however it seriously saves your grip. You did just do 12 deadlifts followed by 9 more deadlifts for the power cleans. I don’t really think that one is ‘harder’ than the other, both have elements that change the workout thus making it difficult to compare the two. With all CrossFit workouts, I think they are as hard as you want to make them…

I don’t remember doing that workout before. It looks fun.

  4. Jarrod says:

Thanks John. That makes sense. I could not decide which one would be harder because they are both hard.

Re Saturday’s foam rolling class – Both Courtney and I will be attending, but there is only one foam roller in the house that we can bring to use. Should we find another between now and then, or will there be extra rollers available at the class? Danke.

  6. John says:

Colin – Great question and I will add this info to the post. We will/should have plenty of foam rollers for everybody to use for the class. Dr. Pendergrass is bringing a bunch and I have more hidden the back that we can use.

We encourage you and all to bring your foam roller with you if you have one, so that you can have plenty of intimate bonding time with your foam torture device.

We will also have foam rollers on sale after the event.

Good WOD. I went back to the main site and looked over the hero WODs. Very humbling and puts life in perspective. A reminder that my little problems really are insignficant.

I vote for more hero WODs.

You will get your wish… Feb. 12th ‘Small’

    More info coming soon.

I started out with 145lbs but dropped down to 135lbs halfway through the workout. 155lbs someday though!!

Did this one at home this morning…9:05 at 115#. Should have done 135#. Speaking of Hero WOD’s, I know you don’t like to publish the WOD schedule ahead of time, but knowing when some of the Hero or Girl WOD’s are coming up might be nice. Also, same for the schedule of the Strength/Skills, even just a week in advance? Just a thought… OMR
