What works best for you; somebody in your face/ear yelling and cheering you on or do you prefer quite serenity as you chase down the person ahead of you? Or does it all just depend on the workout (movements), the type of day you’ve had, how you are feeling and who is doing the yelling? Who gets in your head the most when you’re in the middle of a WOD?

I usually respond well to having someone yelling/cheering me through the home stretch of a WOD.
I think it’s because the toughest person to get OUT of my head, is MYSELF. The less I listen to my own brain, the better.
I lost my notebook workout tracker yesterday during the 6-7PM class. The name on the front of it reads “Chunky”. Please if you took it my mistake or find it let me know. Thanks!
I need someone there telling me that I can do it and telling me to just “pick the weight up!”, or “you have 15 seconds, get 7 more reps!” Sometimes if I just hear somebody say my name, I know they are watching me so I better get on it! I give credit to Michele for helping me through that 333 on FGB. She didnt let me get away with anything!
So for those of you that come out October 22nd to the Obliteration competition, remember that and yell at me!:)
as a general rule i probably prefer quiet, but a little bit of encouragement at the end is great – especially when someone gives you a time/rep goal – like haley mentioned
but in this picture i think it was something like 30% encouragement and 70% sweet nothings.. sorry jessy!
sarah just never shuts up. ughh!. haha
