    If I were better, wouldn’t it be easier? ;) Honestly, it only sucks while you’re doing it. 2 minutes post-wod, my vision and hearing come back, I can speak again, and then the wod becomes a vague and (mysteriously) pain-free memory.

    Okay, I’m half-joking, but how many of us walk away from a wod and then say either we could have/should have moved faster, or we should have gone heavier? I do it routinely. It’s not in a cowardly sense, or out of pride, but just an admission that I didn’t even try to be better from the outset. Pathetic, perhaps. But some days, you just don’t have the fight in you. Now, where’s my beer?

    At first glance u think as the guys above said, if I’m better won’t it be easier? But that’s not true. Thats the thing w crossfit. There’s always a way to challenge yourself and something to get better. Do I think that once I can do handstand pushups it’ll be easier? No. Bc then I have to do 6 of them in a workout amrp. That’s not easy. Then once I can do 3 rounds I can always work up to 5 rounds – and I bet that still won’t be easy while doing it. Not many things worth accomplishing come easily. I don’t mind the work. It sucks but if it didn’t it wouldnt be crossfit. If u want easier they guys have it about joining a zumba class or 24 hr where u can smile while doing the elliptical. Easier would be cool. I want to be better each and every day.
