RX’d Saturday

Just wanted to try out a RX’d only class and see what the demand was. And despite some the rumors you guys start amongst each other, I still plan on having the FREE family Saturdays as often I can. The CrossFit Games Sectionals are coming up quick and we want to make sure we are doing everything in our power to make sure everyone is comfortable with all the skills needed.

SKILL/STRENGTH WOD
Burg. Warm-up
Snatch

WOD
15 Hang Squat Cleans
30 Pushups
5 Rounds

He explodes up as hard and fast he possibly can, and then immediately pulls himself underneath the bar as fast he possibly can. It’s a violent change in directions.

    What a workout – John thanks for the free Sat and the RX. It was nice to practice the weight training and have a smaller class to focus on the movement. Brian – you don’t have to apologize to anyone for the work you did – good job working it out. I will be feeling this tomorrow.

    That’s a fascinating video, John. You can really see how quickly he turns from pulling to getting under the bar by watching this hair, the tag on his outfit, and his bodyfat. It’s an image worth remembering once I’m snatching again.

    Yes there will be more Saturday workouts. I’m just amazed nobody is making fun of me for snatching the bar into my forehead.

    Regardless of how funny it is that you hit your head, I will never make a joke about it b/c you have the power to make WODs worse and worse to get even. It’s just not worth it.
